1. I already have an account on pattylyons.com (for the store); do I need one for the Knitting School too?
Yes. When you first join Patty Lyons’ Knitting School (education.pattylyons.com) you will need to create a new account. However, you can use the same log in and password you use from pattylyons.com!
2. When does the class start and finish? How long can I access it.
The standard course starts when you start it and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course—you decide when you start and when you finish. It is yours forever. Once you purchase it, you can watch it again and again.
3. Where can I find the pattern files, handouts, tutorials etc. Are they emailed?
All your pattern and class files are in the class online (available for download). You’ll usually see the main handout or pattern handout links available in the very first lesson.
4. Can I download my class?
Most classes are fully downloadable. If you have limited storage space on your device, you can always stream the class. But if you want to watch a lesson offline, download it!
5. Can I share my class?
All content is copyrighted and for personal use only. Duplication and sharing content is strictly prohibited.
6. Can I ask a question in class?
YES! One of the best things about taking a class with us is being able to interact with Patty and with other students. Not only can you post a question on your lesson, but you can join our community group and share pictures and questions with other students.
7. Can I merge my purchases from pattylyons.com with the classes I purchase here?
Unfortunately not. Patty Lyons’ Knitting School (education.pattylyons.com) is a streaming site, and all the courses that you purchase here will be on your dashboard. This will always be separate from the pattern pdfs you purchased on pattylyons.com.
8. What if a class is not right for me?
We want you to be happy with your class, so feel free to use the contact link in the footer if you have a question about which class is right for you. We cannot offer refunds on digital classes once they have been downloaded.
If you have made a purchase in error and the class has not yet been downloaded, please contact us within 48 hours of purchase for a refund.
